Who Am I?

Hi, my name is Matías Elgueta. I am 18 years old and I was born in the city of Iquique, in the north of Chile. I am a film and television student in my second year. I am very happy for this. I like watch films in my house with people or alone, play some online videogames, cook and I really like go out to see new places in Santiago. Also I like know new people.

I lived all of my life there in Iquique with my mom, dad, sister and my dog. I have too many memories there, my friends, my family, my confort zone in other words. I remember go out with my friends to climb "El Cerro dragón", a gigant dune in the city. Or go to the beach, although I don't really like it, but it´s okay. With my mom we used to go see movies at the cinema, thanks to she I like cinema, the books, the philosophy a little. I really miss my family and my friends there, I really really miss my dog named Max, but when I go back to Iquique I like go out to thee street with it.

Iquique isn´t a big city, but there you will always have something to do and learn about the northern culture. The last year I had to move to Santiago for the university. That was my first hard desicion in my life, because I had never lived in another city in my whole life, and also alone. The first year was hard, I cried a lot. But then I met a really good people in the career. So now i am better.

I hope this year will be better than the last, and meet new great people around to Santiago.
