Blog 3: My future job

In the future I would like to be a great cinematographer, because for that I am study this major. The image is very important for the narrative of a story in the movies, but not only to show the events that occur on the screen, photography has an expressive treatment beyond the simple fact of showing. The creative process behind image treatment is a job that requires a lot of communication and understanding of the "subject" of the team. So, one of the most important skills to be a good cinematographer is communication and understanding of the human team, and undestanding when and how position the camara. Because the camara is the element who will narrate the film.

As for salary, I don't really care much about money. I prefer to be doing something because I like doing it and I love my career. But I understand that this career is too expensive. If you want to do or be part of a project, the amount of money you need is very high. So yes, I would need a good salary if I want to be able to make a living from this and not die for hungry.

The major that I am study is film and television. I chose this career because since I was a child I have been interested in everything related to the world of cinema, specifically the photography side. It was incredible to me to see characters in unreal worlds that are only able to be accessed through movies. I hope to be able to achieve unreal images and create films like the ones I admired since I was a child in the future.
